Discover Tehran in 1 Day tour- Sa’dabad Palace to Museum of Time

 

We start Tehran tour from the entrance of Sa’dabaad Palace on the Darband Street, with a walk from the Royal Clothing Museum to the Green Palace, and Museum of Omidvar Brothers who traveled around the world in 1954 for about ten years. At the end we visit Mellat Palace (white palace). After a refreshing break we drive to the Museum of Time which is famous for its beauty and unique decoration. The lunch will be served in a traditional restaurant with the buffet menu. Then we pay a visit to the Ferdows Garden and Cinema Museum.

Sa’dabad palace

The Sa’dabad Palace Complex is a 300 hectare complex built by the Qajar and Pahlavi monarchs in the 19th century. After extensive expansions, Reza Shah of the Pahlavi Dynasty resided there in the 1920s. His son, Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, moved there in the 1970s. After the 1979 Revolution, the complex became a public museum. Today, the official residence of the President of Iran is located adjacent to the complex.

The complex includes more than 180 hectares of natural forest, streets, qanats, galleries, and museums

Museum of Time

Museum of time is one of the Tehran’s tourism attractions. The building is one of the masterpieces of the Iranian architecture which related to the Qajar era and belongs to 80 years ago. It’s unique tile and plasterworks are the mixture of Iranian and European styles.

Inside the museum, there are collection of precious watches and clocks that remind us the importance of time over the history of human.
